Anomander Rake - Son of Darkness "The weight was never the sword. It was what lay within." Anomander Rake stood silent, his silver hair whipping in the wind, a stark contrast against his midnight-black skin. Dragnipur rested in his grip, its darkness swallowing the last hints of light. From its cursed edge, chains of smoke coiled and writhed, stretching into the unseen, burdened with the weight of those forever lost. The air trembled with power—his power—held in check even now. The chains whispered, the blade wept darkness. And Anomander Rake listened, as he always had, to the groaning of wagon wheels. Behind him, vast wings unfurled, masked only by the shroud of darkness that clung to him as if the night itself feared to let go. Shadows twisted at his feet, drawn to him like a tide, as his ancient  draconian blood awakened.
